Recently, our College had an Extension Project that tied up with local businesses for a Window Display project.
This design was for a Window Display for a Cyber Cafe, highlighting its services and featuring charcters from popular online games.
I figured that most cyber cafe windows were virtually covered with these characters already so it is only logical to put them in my design too, but with a better and more creative twist: being more colorful and inviting...my design just had that feel of warth and calmness to it that made you want to come inside the cafe.
it was just a significant break from the monotony of that building, since all of the displays on the store windows virually looked the same and mind you nearly every store in that building was a cyber cafe - it was ridiculous, more so their displays.

But you know what, the guy that co-owned the cafe and manages it HATED the design...and he was commenting stupid things about it. He was trying to be smart in his comments but it only made him look more stupid, so i just smile when talking to him. He was comparing the design to their existing display that i think he designed, that was to be replaced by my new design...i guess he was just too proud of his crapy design and his pride was a little bit stepped over when he figured that my design was superior..and mind you - this design is a pure Vector Graphic made in Adobe Illustrator - and WHOA it wasn't easy to make!!

Anyway, to compromise (which i really dont like doing when not properly justified) we did a little re-design and changed the purpose for the display...see "Heroes Gather B"
